This foundation is a blend of natural pigments and minerals mixed

Scarlett's blush is a lightweight formulation of pigment-rich mineral color
which is triple milled and pressed into pans. It is velvety smooth and will
never clog pores. It also has natural SPF due to the minerals blended into the
formula. Each blush pan is triple pressed so that if you drop it the color won't break (don't you hate that!). Fragrance-free, paraben-free and allergen-free.

for a smooth flawless finish. They were created in this way because 
a lot of pigment is used in the colors (whether dark or light) and can 
cause lipsticks to be drying on lips.  The silicon is added to hydrate.
